If I could encourage you to make anything it would be my simple yet delcious egg fried rice. This is my absolute favourite dish. Made in 10 minutes with only 8 cupboard ingredients and entirely in one pot. It is packed full of flavour and the perfect side to many meals.
Serves 2
Ingredients
250g long grain rice
75g frozen peas
3 eggs
5 shallots
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
20g butter
Bunch of spring onions
Method
In a wok, on a medium heat, add the butter, shallots, peas and spring onions. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the onions have softened
Add in the eggs and whisk with a spatula until they are just scrambling
Add in the soy sauce and oyster sauce and stir into the egg
Cook the rice as instructed and add in mixing until all combined
