Edible cookie dough dipped in chocolate, the perfect sweet treat and so cute to serve.
Ingredients
140g plain flour (heat treated, see bottom of recipe)
120g brown sugar
50g caster sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
50g milk chocolate chips
50g white chocolate chips
50 milk chocolate
1 tbsp cocoa powder
Method
- Combine the butter and both sugars in a large both and cream together
- Add in the the flour and mix
- Add in the chocolate chips and vanilla extra
- Divide the cookie dough into 15 equal balls and push a wooden stick into each one
- Place onto a lined baking tray and refrigerate for 1 hour
- In a small bowl, melt the milk chocolate and dip each cookie dough ball into it
- Then dip into the cocoa powder
- Return them to the baking tray and refrigerate for another hour until the chocolate has set
How to heat treat flour:
It is a good idea to heat treat flour to kill any potential bacteria before using it for the cookie dough. Add onto a baking tray and cook on 160 degrees / gas mark 4 for 6-8 minutes
