These quick and easy crostinis make the perfect canape for entertaining and will truly impress your guests. The bite sized toasts are packed full of flavour with creamy Gorgonzola, sliced prosciutto and drizzled with honey and fresh chives.
Makes 10 Crostinis
Ingredients
80g original Philadelphia
60 Gorgonzola
1 tbsp olive oil
1 minced garlic clove
Fresh chives
Sourdough baguette
Prosciutto slices
Method
- Slice the sourdough baguette, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper
- Cook in the oven for 10-15 minutes on gas mark 6
- To make the gorgonzola sauce, mix the Philadelphia, gorgonzola, olive oil, fresh chives together and season with salt and pepper
- Remove the sourdough slices from the oven and leave to cool
- Once cool, spread a spoonful of the gorgonzola sauce onto each slice of sourdough crostinis
- Roll up the prosciutto slices and add on top of each sourdough crostinis
- Add a cocktail stick into the middle to keep the prosciutto in place
- Drizzle the crostinis with honey and fresh chives and serve
