Ingredients
4 premium beef burgers
4 slices of Monterey jack cheese
Salad of choice, tomatoes, lettuce, red onion
Flora 100% Natural Ingredients spread
Honey BBQ Glaze
40g ketchup
40g white wine vinegar
40g honey
1/2 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Pinch of sea salt and black pepper
Lime Mayonnaise
3 tbsp mayonnaise
Juice of half a lime
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 garlic clove, minced
Method
- Preheat your BBQ and cook the beef burgers on both sides
- In the meantime, to make the honey BBQ sauce, add the ingredients to a saucepan and place it over medium heat
- Keep stirring until the ingredients bubble, then reduce the heat to low until it thickens
- Using a basting brush coat both sides of the burger with the honey BBQ sauce and top with Monterey jack cheese
- Close the lid of the BBQ for 2-3 minutes until the cheese has melted
- Add the brioche buns onto the BBQ and grill for 1-2 minutes until the buns are slightly chargrilled
- For the smoky lime mayonnaise, combine the above ingredients and mix together until smooth
- Butter each side of the bun with Flora 100% Natural Ingredients spread and top with your salad of choice, cheese-topped burger, crispy bacon and the smokey lime mayonnaise
