Maple & Smokey BBQ Glazed Pork Belly

The perfect combination of sweet and smokey, these succulent glazed pork belly slices are made with smokey bbq seasoning and maple syrup.



Ingredients


pork belly slices

6 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp smokey bbq seasoning

1 minced garlic clove


Method


- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees / gas mark 6

- Season the pork belly with a pinch of the smokey bbq seasoning and cook for 30 minutes

- To make the glaze, add the maple syrup, brown sugar, minced garlic and smokey bbq seasoning into a bowl and mix

- After 30 minutes remove the pork belly from the oven and brush with the mixture

- Cook for another 20 minutes

- Remove from the oven and top with any pork and maple juices
