Perfect for a party appetiser or nibbles, these delicious crostini’s topped with a blue cheese sauce, a slice of medium steak and finished with balsamic vinegar and fresh chives.
Ingredients
- French Stick
- 50ml of Double Cream
- 50g of Stilton
- 2 Steaks
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Fresh Chives
Method
- Drizzle the bread slices in olive oil, season and cook in the oven for 10 minutes
- Simmer the double cream and add the Stilton and mix until smooth
- Cook your steak to your preference. I cooked it for 4 minutes on each side using my Le Creuset cast iron round grill.
- Remove steak from grill and leave to rest for 5 minutes before cutting into slices
- Now to assemble the crostini’s.. add a spoonful of your Stilton sauce and a slice of steak
- Finish with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and fresh chives
