Tear & Share Puff Pastry Baked Camembert with Chorizo & Hot Honey




Ingredients


Camembert

Sheet of puff pastry

Chorizo slices

15g butter

1 garlic clove, minced

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

1/4 tsp chilli flakes

1/2 tsp dried parsley

1 tbsp honey

Fresh chives


Method


1) Place the Camembert onto a baking tray lined with grease proof paper

2) Slice the sheet of puff pastry into strips roughly 7cm wide

3) Twist the puff pastry strips and wrap around the Camembert creating a wreath shape

4) Stuff the chorizo slices between the puff pastry sections

5) Once all the pastry has been used, melt the butter and add in the garlic, red pepper flakes and parsley

6) Using a basting brush, coat the pastry and Camembert with the chilli garlic butter

7) Cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the Camembert has melted and the pastry is golden brown

8) Top with a drizzle of hot honey (mix chilli flakes into the honey) and fresh chives and enjoy
